Severe flooding, Västernorrland
In autumn 2025, Västernorrland was hit with heavy rainfall. Some areas experienced more than 100mm rain over the course of a few hours, which led to major complications, putting a lot of pressure on the region’s emergency services. In this report, we follow Örnsköldsvik Rescue Services as they collaborated with MSB’s support resource specialised in flooding.
